Beaks And Claws | The Philosophy Of Science [1st Edition]

                        From the finch's beaks
to the dawn of the Greeks
                        They waited for Wallace
                        to get their first peek

                        Being built to feel
they knew not what was real
                        If it weren't for Darwin
it's with the Devil they'd deal

For blunt tools such as claws
                        can't decide what is false
                        In the absence of Newton
could they reckon a world made from laws?

Comments

  1. TO-DO
    - Fix the misspelling of "peak" to "peek" (though it's a nice double-entendre) (9/12/22 12:40 AM)

  2. Change Log:
    Version 1.0 1/7/23
    - Changed "peak" to "peek" (though I like both, the latter is what I meant!)
    - Changed the title from "0th" to "1st edition"
